He joined the nationalist movement during his studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. In 1935, he transformed the supplement to the nationalist ABC daily into the weekly Prosto z mostu [“Straight Out”], which he headed as the editor-in-chief. During World War II, he volunteered for the army and then became active in the underground structures of the National Party. In December 1940 he was arrested by the Gestapo, and a few months later he was shot in Palmiry (12 June 1941). His most important works included: Związek Białej Tarczy [“Union of the White Shield”] (1929), Prosto z mostu [“Straight Out”] (1934) and Prawo do twórczości [“Right to Creation”] (1936).
