Józef Pastuszka 1897-1989

B. Feb. 28, 1897, Rzeczniówek (near Kielce). Attended a religious seminary in St. Petersburg. Studied theology and philosophy at the Innsbruck University; 1921-1930 lectured in philosophy at the seminary in Sandomierz. He also taught philosophy at the Jagiellonian University and psychology at the Lublin Catholic University. His works include Niematerialność duszy ludzkiej u św. Augustyna  [“Immateriality of the Human Soul in the Writings of St. Augustine”, 1930]; Filozofia religii [“Philosophy of Religion”, 1930]; Współczesne kierunki filozofii religii [“Contemporary Currents in the Philosophy of Religion”, 1932]. He died in 1989.
